The Zamp Z-25 Karting Jacket has been designed by ZAMP specifically to fill the needs of Dirt Track Karting.
(It also works great for asphalt karting as well!)
Built with a 2-layer lightweight abrasion-resistant construction and heat guards along the back of the arms and shoulders for extra protection. This jacket also features elastic straight arm cuffs and shoulder flex panels
to allow for fully-floating 360 degree shoulder rotation.

Is the Z-25 Jacket abrasion resistant? Is it Fire Retardant?
The Z-25 jacket is abrasion resistant. It features a 2-Layer lightweight construction with a 100% polyester shell and a 100% knitted mesh interior. This abrasion resistance helps to provide an additional measure of protection against road rash and is highly recommended for all forms of karting- especially outdoors and at higher speeds.
The Z-25 Kart jacket is not fire retardant and should not be used for auto racing or other series where fire protective clothing is required.
Does the Z-25 jacket have a heat shield?

The Z-25 jacket features a Suede Leather Heat Guard on back of both arms and around shoulders for added protection from engine heat.

The ZAMP Z-25 Jacket and the K1 Karting Jacket are both great entry level karting jackets. The Z-25 Jacket is 20% lighter than the K1 Karting Jacket. This allows the Z-25 Jacket to be more comfortable and breathable which lets you maintain your focus on the race- especially during the hot summer months.
