The K1 Ballistic Rib Protector is an Italian-made carbon fiber vest with an optional chest insert for comprehensive torso protection while karting.

This Ballistic Rib Protector features a molded carbon fiber exterior for superior strength and impact resistance. The inside of the composite shell uses high resiliency closed-cell foam padding for shock absorption as well as a comfortable fit. Air channels molded into the padding allow for better breathability than other rib vests. The back section is independently mobile and additionally padded for vibration dampening.

Unlike many vests on the market, K1's ballistic rib protector features seven hook & loop adjusters to create the perfect, tailored fit. By fine-tuning the size on any axis you can personalize the vest to your exact body profile.

Also available is K1's optional Chest Protector. This carbon fiber chest plate is made to exclusively integrate with the Ballistic Vest and safeguards driver's chest and sternum during frontal impacts for comprehensive torso protection.
